Agree on the specification

A custom paddle project begins with a brief: intended market, shape, materials, core structure, appearance and quantity. SHUEN and the buyer review the structure and artwork before confirming the sample direction.

The approved specification is the reference for the later production run. If a brand needs a new core structure, that development is part of the discussion at this stage.

Make and review a sample

After design confirmation, the documented sample dispatch period is three to five working days. Dispatch is the point when the sample leaves the factory, not the date it arrives with the buyer.

The buyer reviews the physical paddle, finish and agreed configuration. Any changes should be recorded before production moves forward.

Keep the sample reference, selected material and core, shape and thickness, artwork version and component colors together in the approval record. Confirm any inspection requirements with SHUEN; a later change should be reviewed against that record before production continues.

Produce, inspect and dispatch

The factory's documented stages include material preparation, printing, hot pressing, finishing, handle work and inspection. SHUEN's quality staff perform individual performance checks and marking on finished paddles before dispatch.

Testing requirements and acceptance details should be agreed for the project. The available internal collision and rebound data is not an official USA Pickleball certification report, and no official brand or model approval record is currently available to claim for SHUEN paddles. Check any customer-branded model's status separately.
