Your first-inquiry checklist
Include your target market and intended buyer, preferred shape, thickness, face material and core, logo artwork, component colors, quantity per model and delivery destination. Add your sample timing and any testing or documentation questions. Mark undecided items so SHUEN can discuss the options with you.
Start with the buyer and the product direction
Tell the factory who the paddle is for and what your brand wants to make. A useful first brief identifies your target customer, the planned sales market, the visual direction and an estimated quantity. You do not need to settle every technical choice before the first conversation.
If you have an existing product reference or artwork, include it as a discussion aid. The goal is to turn your idea into a specification that both sides can review before sampling.
List the choices you have already made
Record any preferred shape and dimensions, 14 mm or 16 mm thickness, face material, core direction, edge color, rubber ring, grip, butt cap and graphics. SHUEN has eight base shapes and a library of surface materials and core structures. The choices can be combined for a custom project, and SHUEN can help develop a core structure when an existing option does not match the brief.
You can also mark an item as open for discussion. That makes it clear which details are requirements and which can be developed during sampling.
Add quantity, timing and approval steps
State the quantity you expect for each custom model and when you need the first sample. The confirmed minimum for custom paddles is five units per model; standard paddles can be mixed with a total minimum of five units. Samples dispatch in three to five working days after design confirmation.
Include the delivery destination and any date you are planning around. SHUEN can arrange worldwide delivery; the method and timing are confirmed for your order. Southeast Asia's 5–8 working days and Europe, the Americas and Australia's 10–12 working days are reference ranges, not fixed promises for every destination.
Before production, confirm the final artwork and build specification against the sample. Put any testing or documentation requests in the brief so the factory can discuss what applies to your project.
